Supporting Students

The Office of Academic Services provides academic advising and support services for Brandeis undergraduates. Our goal is for all  students to have a  fulfilling college experience, from their first registration for classes through graduation.

Brandeis' rich liberal arts curriculum allows students to explore many different academic opportunities.  From studying abroad to conducting innovative research with a faculty member to designing one's own major, each Brandeis student is able to define his or her own path.  Academic Services is here to provide guidance to help each student accomplish his or her goals.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Academic Services offers extended same-day (20-minute) advising appointments for students throughout the add/drop period (August 28-September 11). Same-day appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11:00am-5:00pm and on Wednesdays from 12:00-5:00pm. To set up a meeting, students should come by Academic Services (2nd floor Usdan) any time after 9am to sign up for an appointment for later on that dayThese appointments tend to fill up quickly; students will have a better selection of appointment times the earlier they arrive.

After September 12, students are welcome to schedule an appointment with an advisor by making an appointment in-person with the front desk of Academic Services, calling our office (781-736-3470), or by signing up for a same-day appointment (between 1-5pm Monday-Friday).

In addition, the Roosevelt Fellows (peer academic advisors) will hold drop-in hours from 11am-3pm, Monday through Friday, throughout the semester.
