Brandeis Students Interested in Surgery

Are you interested in exploring what a career in the surgical field entails? Curious about the different career paths that surgery has to offer?

Brandeis has three unique opportunities for you to gain experience with careers in surgery, co-sponsored by the Hiatt Career Center, Office of Pre-Health Advising and the Pre-Health Society.

1. Surgery 101: 1-2 week experience shadowing a surgeon

2. Summer Observation: 4-8 week summer observation, with time length mutually agreed upon by student and surgeon

3. Research Project: 6-8 week research project
