GW Linkage Program

Brandeis offers a linkage program with George Washington University School of Medicine. Applying through the linkage program reduces the stress and expense of applying at large through the traditional application process.

The linkage program will work differently depending if the student is in the one or two year program. Highly qualified students completing the program in one year can apply for admission in the spring of their first year.  If accepted, they will start medical school the following fall. While this doesn't eliminate the "glide year" between finishing the program and starting medical school, it does reduce stress, application fees and the uncertainly of being accepted. Students admitted are afforded the chance to spend a year concentrating on activities related to health care, rather than the application process.Students completing the program in two years may apply in the spring of their second year. If accepted they would start in the fall, which would eliminate the glide year between finishing the program and matriculating to medical school.
