Welcome to the ISSO

The International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO) supports Brandeis international students and scholars from over 120 countries around the globe.  The ISSO is dedicated to helping international students and scholars throughout their arrival and adjustment to life at Brandeis, which includes:

  • Determining visa eligibility
  • Preparing and issuing visa documents
  • Providing guidance on immigration procedures
  • Offering counseling on cultural adjustment and academics related to visa status
  • Organizing programming to enhance the American educational experience

The International Students and Scholars office is a sub department of the Office of Academic Services.
