Off-Campus Assistance for Graduate Students
Because the demand for housing exceeds the university's capacity, most Brandeis graduate students and scholars live in Waltham, Cambridge (Porter or Harvard Square), or Somerville (Davis Square). The demand for off-campus housing is high in the greater Boston area, which is why you should begin your search at least 2 weeks before the semester begins.
Incoming Graduate students are invited to attend a House Hunting Weekend, organized by the Graduate Student Association. Please consult the Office of Graduate Student Affairs for the dates and more information.
