ISSO Closed Monday 9/3, Check-In Reminder, and SSN/Driver's License Information

Check-In Reminder
If you haven't already, please complete the ISSO Online Check-In for Fall 2012! You can complete your ISSO Online Check-In once you are in the U.S. (There is one exception: Students who are conducting research or on approved study abroad can check in from abroad).
Once you check-in is complete, the ISO registration hold will be removed from your Sage account by the end of the following business day. Please note that Monday, September 3 ISSO will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The office will re-open at 9am on Tuesday, September 4.
Helpful links are available on the ISSO website, such as ISSO Check-In Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Troubleshooting: ISSO Online Check-In, so take a look if you have any questions about filling out the form. Also, you can always contact the ISSO at isso@brandeis.edu.

Important Information for Applying for a Social Security Number or Driver's License
As of August 10, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) no longer provides admission stamps for Form I-20s. If asked for a stamped I-20 when applying for a SSN or Driver's License, please print out and refer the the Social Security Administration or Registry of Motor Vehicles to this announcement: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/travel_news/cbp_i20_stamp.xml
