And, the winners are...

First place: Scott Neal, Winter Wonderland in Ontario, Canada

Tied for second place: Yifan He, Sunset in Michigan and Athena Banza, Rendezvous!

2-ISSO OPEN MIC

In November 2011,  ISSO started publishing monthly submissions written by Brandeis international students and scholars to our online Open Mic page on our website.  Thank you to all who have contributed so far!  Past submissions can be found on the website.

The question/or theme for February 2012 is: What was your first impression of the U.S./Brandeis?

Guidelines: Please email isso@brandeis.edu by February 29th with 1-2 paragraphs related to the theme.  Was your first impression of the U.S. what you thought it would be like? Did you experience anything unexpected?  These are things you can think about as you write.  Let us know if you have any questions!  Submissions can be anonymous or not-indicate your preference in your email.  Also, feel free to include a photo!
