End of Year Congrats, New Summer CPT/OPT Drop Off Hours, and Reminders

END OF YEAR REMINDERS

NEW ISSO SUMMER CPT/OPT DROP OFF HOURS
Tuesdays 1pm-4pm
Wednesdays 10-4pm
Thursdays 10am-1pm
In order to drop off your CPT or OPT application without an appointment, they will only be accepted during the CPT/OPT Drop Off Hours.
For F-1 students who need employment authorization for off campus work or internships, please plan in advance to apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT)! Remember, you cannot begin any off campus work, paid or unpaid, without the CPT authorization.
Graduating F-1 students, if you are planning on applying for Post-Completion Optional Practical Training, we also want to remind you to plan in advance! Applications on average take 2-3 months to be approved.

Congratulations! Finals are over! ISSO wishes all a wonderful summer break and a safe trip home (for those traveling)... As a reminder, the ISSO is open all summer! Congratulations to the Class of 2012! We hope the ISSO has been helpful to you during this year and we look forward to seeing you again!
Reminder: Travel Signatures
If you have plans to travel over the summer, don't forget to travel with a valid travel signature on your most current I-20/DS-2019! If you received an email from the ISSO letting you know that you have a new I-20 or DS-2019, make sure you pick it up before you travel and make sure it has a travel signature that will be less than 6 months old by the time you re-enter the U.S. You can get travel signatures by leaving your I-20 or DS-2019 at the ISSO and picking it up the following business day. If your sponsor is not Brandeis (Fulbright, Ford, etc.), please contact your sponsor to obtain a travel signature on your DS-2019.
