Windstar Software
To provide a tool to assist international students and scholars in completing their U.S. Federal and Massachusetts State Income Tax Returns, the ISSO has purchased a group license to Windstar Technologies Incorporated, a tax filing software specializing in completing tax forms for international students and scholars.
Access codes for Windstar Foreign National Tax Resource (FNTR) Software can be requested at the ISSO beginning on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 after 10:00am. In order to obtain an access code, you need to come to the Tax Information Session or come by the ISSO in person to fill out a waiver form and pay $5.00.
Windstar FNTR Software is a software designed for international students and/or scholars that are non-residents for tax purposes. Residents for tax purposes can file like an American, using other software programs. If you are a non-resident for tax purposes, please do not use other online software programs.
NOTE: Windstar FNTR tax software access codes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
