A Fellowship Program for Outstanding Students

The Lerman-Neubauer Fellowship Program at Brandeis University was inaugurated in 2008 to recognize students with exceptional scholastic records and the potential to make significant contributions to the academic field of their choice. Fellows are interested in all disciplines, and up to 20 entering students will be chosen each year to participate in the program; each receives a stipend for summer research.

Fellows are assigned a faculty mentor and have the opportunity to participate in paid internships or research projects and unique cultural events. The program also affords the opportunity, beginning in the first year, to enroll in intellectually challenging seminars and, during the senior year, in a capstone course that leads to a senior thesis research project.
