Selection Process

There is no separate application to be considered for the Lerman-Neubauer Fellowship Program. All applicants to Brandeis are considered for this Fellowship, and recipients are among the top candidates for admission. Upon receiving applications, a committee makes selections based upon a number of criterion, including:

  • Academic record

  • Standardized tests

  • Service in one's school and community

  • Extracurricular activities

  • Demonstrated interest in research

  • Potential to contribute to one's field

  • Potential to become an academic, cultural, and global leader
