About the Program

The Lerman-Neubauer Fellowship Program at Brandeis University was inaugurated in 2008 to recognize students with exceptional scholastic records who possess the potential to make significant contributions to the academic field of their choice. Students admitted into this program should have a serious interest in research and educational exploration. Fellows come to Brandeis with a broad range of academic and extracurricular pursuits which represent a variety of disciplines at the University.
Up to 20 entering students will be selected each year, and recipients of this fellowship are among the top applicants to Brandeis. In addition to gaining access to all that Brandeis offers, each fellow receives a stipend that guarantees him or her the chance to conduct a summer-long research project or internship, in addition to myriad opportunities for interdisciplinary and extracurricular exploration. As a community, fellows will also participate in culturally rich group outings to experience all that the Boston area has to offer.
