The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Fellowship is awarded to entering first-year students on the basis of academic performance and extracurricular participation in secondary school, outstanding community involvement and demonstrated financial need.
MLK Fellows are generally under-represented in college as first-generation college students, students of color, and/or have high demonstrated financial need.
Primary consideration in the application is given to academic performance and community involvement.
There is no application for this scholarship beyond the admission application, FAFSA, and the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE.
