Meet the Faculty

In the classroom and in the lab, Brandeis students have the opportunity to interact with exceptional faculty who truly care about undergraduate education. They are leaders in their fields who are on the cutting edge of research and intellectual thought.

More importantly, they will know you as a person, not a number. Your professors will be able to assess your strengths (and weaknesses) and help you develop both as a student and a person.

Because Brandeis is a research university, you'll have the chance to participate in your professors' research activities and even lead your own research projects. And, after just a short while, your professors will become more than just your teachers; they will become your mentors and your friends for life.

Brandeis counts among its 373 full-time faculty two Pulitzer Prize winners, three MacArthur Foundation Fellows (winners of so-called "genius" grants) and four Howard Hughes Medical Investigators.
