Library and Technology Services
Brandeis' first-rate library and technology services put the world at your fingertips.
The Goldfarb Library, Farber Library and Gerstenzang Science Library together contain more than 1 million print volumes, more than 900,000 microforms, approximately 500,000 U.S. government documents and some 35,000 music and film resources.
In addition to these campus resources, students may avail themselves of the university's membership in the Boston Library Consortium, which enables access to the collections of 18 academic and research libraries in New England, including Boston College, Boston University and Tufts University.
Technology services abound on campus. Highlights include:
- More than 200 networked computers, laser printers, flatbed scanners and CD-ROM burners housed in classrooms and clusters throughout campus.
- Wireless Internet service in all campus buildings and many outside locations.
- Cable television service with access to more than 70 channels in all residential rooms.
