Whether you enter Brandeis University in August or January, the Department of Orientation is here to support you throughout your first year. The department coordinates orientation, a series of educational and social events designed to help you transition into college, and a first-year experience course taught in the fall and spring.
During orientation, you will get to experience various aspects of Brandeis — including rigorous academics, social justice, community service and strong values — and learn about the numerous resources available to you. You'll have the opportunity to attend many social events, making new friends and memories along the way.
You will also have the chance to interact with Brandeis' outstanding faculty and staff through education forums such as the Academic Overview, Academic Fair and Academic Advising Session.
