A Special Note to Counselors of International Students Attending U.S. High Schools

International students attending U.S. high schools are eligible to apply for financial aid at Brandeis. They should follow these steps according to their family situation:

  • If the family is living and working in the United States, the family should plan to submit the CSS PROFILE as would any U.S. citizen.
  • If the parents are not living and working in the United States, the family should submit the International Student Application for Financial Aid which can be obtained from our forms page. Students may also use the ISFAA provided by the College Board.
  • In both cases, the student should check YES on the Common Application that he/she is seeking financial aid. Please note that an international student may not submit the FAFSA. However, this does not mean that he/she may not seek financial aid.
