Disability Resources

Brandeis University is committed to creating a diverse community that embraces students with disabilities, including mobility, visual, hearing, medical, psychological or learning disabilities. While Brandeis offers no specific academic programs for individuals with disabilities, the university is committed to providing support and reasonable accommodations to all students who have need and are entitled to them.

At the same time, the university encourages all students to take responsibility for their own academic career, to learn about themselves and their peers and to appreciate and explore their considerable abilities.

The fundamental goal of services and support for students with disabilities is to empower those students and to create opportunities for greater independence and self-advocacy.
