Financial Aid

Brandeis is committed to meeting the full demonstrated need for our incoming first-year students. More than half of Brandeis undergraduates receive need-based financial assistance each year, and any student who believes that the cost of attending Brandeis might present a financial hardship is encouraged to apply for financial aid.

Midyear students will receive tentative financial aid award letters around the same time they receive the offer of admission, providing the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE application and, if applicable, the Business/Farm Supplement and Noncustodial PROFILE, were filed on time. If these forms were not filed on time, a tentative award letter will be sent once the materials have been filed.

The tentative award letter will be for the spring semester only. Provided that a family’s financial circumstances remain similar to this year, Midyear students can expect approximately double the amount of Federal Work-Study and need-based institutional and federal scholarship funds awarded for the spring semester. Since we awarded your full-year loan eligibility in the spring semester, the loan portion of the award should be relatively the same.
