Accessibility and Policies
Assisted Listening Devices
The Mainstage and Laurie theaters are equipped with an Assisted Listening System; please see a member of the box office staff in the main lobby if you require a device. There is no charge, but we will collect a form of identification from you while you are using it.
Gift certificates are available. Please call 781-736-3395 for information.
Babes in Arms
For the enjoyment of all our patrons, the Brandeis Theater Company does not allow children under the age of five to attend performances. All patrons, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket for a seat.
Cameras and Recorders
The use of cameras, tape recorders and video recorders is illegal, and it is a threat to the safety of the performers. It is also very disruptive to your fellow theatergoers, so we ask that you refrain from using any and all recording devices.
The Stein Café in the Hassenfeld Conference Center, convenient to the Spingold Theater Center, serves dinner nightly between 5 and 9 p.m. For more information, contact The Stein Restaurant at 781-736-4259.
Please advise Brandeis Tickets of any special seating requirements or other needs upon making your reservation.
The Brandeis Theater Company staff is pleased to offer assistance to all patrons. If you have a specific need or question, please do not hesitate to ask one of us.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building. Please limit smoking to the designated smoking area at the main entrance to the building.
There are no refunds. If you cannot use your tickets, please make them available to a friend or donate them by calling Brandeis Tickets no later than 24 hours in advance of the performance. You may exchange your tickets by phone or in person for another performance of the same production with at least 48 hours notice of the performance for which you have tickets; there is a $2.00 per ticket exchange fee and upgrade fees may also apply.
Performances start on time. Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate interval during the performance. In the Merrick and Laurie Theaters, it may not be possible to seat you in your designated seats until intermission. Late seating is done at the discretion of the management.
