General Guidelines

  • Projects should require minimal technical support.
  • Grants are distributed on a reimbursement basis. Reimbursements usually take 2 weeks to process from the date they are turned in.
  • Grants may not be used for wages or salaries (they may be used for stipends or other honoraria).
  • With certain exceptions, grants may not be used to buy major pieces of equipment.

Acknowledgment of Support

Grant recipients must credit the Office of the Arts in all announcements, publicity, and programs for the funded project. The following phrase is recommended: “Made possible [or Made possible in part] by the Office of the Arts at Brandeis.” When possible, please include the Festival of the Arts logo. Click here for a black and white logo. Click here for a high-resolution color logo (good for print materials). Click here for a low-resolution color logo (good for the Web).
