Helpful People
The following staff people will help you plan and implement your project:
Dennis Finn. Dennis is in charge of grounds and vehicles for Facilities Services. He is the secret hero of the arts at Brandeis! Talk to Dennis if you are installing work outdoors: he can advise on how to secure your work, how to avoid hitting underground pipes and wiring, and in general how to keep things safe. If you need heavy pieces transported, fill out an online work order, and ask me (Ingrid) for the chargeline so that it will be billed to your grant budget. finn@brandeis or 781-736-4374.
Shawna Kelley. Shawna is the concert manager in the Music Department and oversees Slosberg Recital Hall. See Shawna for rehearsal time, questions about recording, equipment, and anything else having to do with Slosberg. shawna@brandeis or 781-736-4867.
Becca Lehrhoff. Becca works in Student Activites and oversees the Shapiro Theater. If you are performing in that space, you are required to meet with Becca to talk about tech, rehearsals, etc. lehrhoff@brandeis or 781-736-5065.
Mark Metevier. Mark is the operations specialist in Student Activities. He books meeting rooms in the Shapiro Campus Center and Usdan Campus Center, including the Art Gallery, and oversees the use of the Atrium and other public spaces in SCC. If you are showing artwork in any of these spaces, you are required to have a meeting with Mark. His office hours (drop in) are Monday 3 pm - 4:30 pm; Tuesday 3 pm - 4 pm; Wednesday 11 am - 12 pm; Thursday 3 pm - 4:30 pm; and Friday 10 am - 11 am. metevier@brandeis or 781-736-5065.

- With certain exceptions, grants may not be used to buy major pieces of equipment.
Acknowledgment of Support
Grant recipients must mention the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and credit the Office of the Arts in all print and online announcements, publicity, and programs for the funded project. The following phrase is recommended: “Part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and made possible [or Made possible in part] by the Office of the Arts at Brandeis.”
