The Brandeis Environmental Sustainability Team (BEST) is a campus-wide environmental group encompassing all sectors of the university - students, Facilities Services, staff, faculty, and administrators. Its undertaking is to help move Brandeis forward as a community of true environmental citizenship and sustainability. To this end, BEST will capitalize on the University's many talents, resources, and underlying commitment to the public good. It will act as a forum for the free flow of information about environmental activities as well as champion new initiatives.

This website was created as an extension of BEST in conjunction with Capital Projects and the Energy Savings Program. Our hope is that this website will further facilitate intra-university communication and awareness about campus sustainability, energy conservation, and the role each of us plays in minimizing our environmental impact.
