BIMA reviews applications in two rounds and after that on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.  Please note that some majors fill up quickly, so we encourage you to complete your application for one of the earlier deadlines to ensure that there is space in the program.

First application deadline:  February 8, 2010
Second application deadline:  March 22, 2010

We will notify you by email once your application is complete. Admissions decisions will be sent by U.S. mail no more than four weeks after the decision round deadline (or if you are applying after March 22, an admissions decision will be sent no more than four weeks after your complete application is received).

If you have questions about the application process, we welcome your call or e-mail. We cannot, however, share the admissions decision via telephone or e-mail.

Tuition

The cost of the fully residential four-week program is $4,600. Tuition for every participant is significantly subsidized by generous donors. Additionally, a generous amount of financial aid money is available (see below). The tuition fee covers all costs during the program including instruction, food, housing, field trips, and recreational activities.

Financial Aid and Campership Incentives

BIMA at Brandeis University is able to offer a substantial number of full and partial need-based scholarships, thanks to the generosity of individual donors and foundations, including the Genesis Philanthropy Group, the Foundation for Jewish Camp, and Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Boston. To be eligible for financial aid, your completed application, along with the financial aid application and all supporting documents, must be received by the BIMA office. Requests for financial aid will not impact your application to the program.
