Community Service

One of the many hallmarks of Brandeis University is its historical commitment to furthering social justice in this country and around the world. For 60 years, the university has pursued this commitment through a combination of teaching, programming and curricula that focus on improving the human condition.

In chapters throughout the country, members of the Brandeis National Committee are involved and committed to community service projects in their communities.

Clearbrook Chapter

The members of the Clearbrook Chapter are knitting lap blankets for the children and young adults who receive cancer treatment at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick, NJ.  The Cancer Institute of New Jersey is a designated comprehensive cancer center, the only one in New Jersey and one of 39 in the nation.
