Supporting the Libraries for Students and Scholars

Libraries are the heart of a great university, the lifeline of learning, teaching, and research. The remarkable growth of the Brandeis Libraries has been achieved with the help of generous women and men who recognize the link between a fine library and a quality education. Through a wide range of giving opportunities, you can fulfill your interest in books and learning and make an impact on one of America's leading research universities.

In appreciation of your gift, the Brandeis University National Women's Committee offers unique recognition to donors and honorees. Gifts of $5,000 and above are recognized on the Tribute Wall in the foyer of the Goldfarb-Farber Library.

Books and Journals
Donors enrich the Brandeis Libraries by underwriting the purchase of books and scholarly journals. Use your gift to honor or memorialize a special person with an inscribed bookplate. To see sample bookplates, click on the corresponding link.

Library Benefactor
Donors to this fund enable the Brandeis Libraries to purchase choice acquisitions and primary source materials such as government documents, the personal papers of great leaders, and rare manuscripts. A Library Benefactor pin designed by a renowned artist will be sent to donors of $1,800 or more.

BUNWC's new Library Benefactor pin, Synergy, produced in a limited edition, was designed by certified gemologist Stephanie Goldberg. Crafted in silver and gold vermeil, the pin has four small diamonds that represent the four pillars upon which Brandeis University was founded: social justice, non-sectarianism, academic excellence, and strong ties to the Jewish community. This recognition piece is presented to donors of $1,800 or more.

A world-class university requires outstanding resources. Rare and prized materials distinguish the holdings of the Brandeis libraries. Without BUNWC's Library Benefactor Fund, these invaluable acquisitions would not be possible.
