Beginning Teacher Network
Co-Leaders: Nili Pearlmutter and Shira Horowitz
The primary goal of the Beginning Teacher Network is to nurture new teachers in Jewish day schools during their challenging and exciting first years of teaching and to provide tools to help them develop their professional practice. Through the Network, we hope to encourage the development of a community of teacher-leaders across Jewish day schools in the Greater Boston area. The Network also provides an opportunity for experienced teachers to share their expertise and continue their own professional development.
The Beginning Teacher Network is open to first and second year teachers in area Jewish day schools. It meets monthly at the Mandel Center for a kosher dinner and lively discussion.
