About the Sarnat CenterThe Bernard G. and Rhoda G. Sarnat Center for the Study of Anti-Jewishness aims to promote a deeper understanding of the genesis, causes, nature, and consequences of anti-Jewish prejudice, as well as Jewish and non-Jewish responses to this phenomenon, especially in North and South America, from both a historical and contemporary perspective.The Center initiates and supports research, lectures, and conferences, and carries out activities in partnership with other Brandeis departments, centers and institutes, as well as other universities and organizations.
