Mona S. Reis
Mona S. Reis is a passionate and seasoned health care professional on the front lines of the abortion rights movement. It was as a student at American University where Ms. Reis connected with what would become her life’s passion. She worked for Planned Parenthood, served as director of the first women’s center providing abortions in Palm Beach County. In 1980 she founded the Presidential Women’s Center - a woman-owned abortion care clinic in West Palm Beach that is one of Florida’s most respected, caring, and professional out-patient abortion facilities.Ms. Reis supports her community through membership on numerous nonprofit organizations, including serving as Director on the boards of Planned Parnethood, National Abortion Federal, and the Anti-Defamation League. She has been honored to receive the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Award, Executive Women’s Private Sector Women in Leadership Award, NOW’s Susan B Anthony Award, and the ACLU’s Harriette Glasner 2006 Freedom Award.
Mona Reis is the proud mother of two wonderful and accomplished adult children and dotes on her three adorable grandchildren.
