Wendy Weiss

Wendy has a long-standing interest in women’s issues and a long history of research on that topic.  As a cultural anthropologist with a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr, she conducted pre-doctoral and post-doctoral research on the changing impact of economic development and subsequent debt crisis on women.  In 2001, Wendy returned to school and earned an MBA at Brandeis’ International Business School, deploying rigorous training at Morgan Stanley.  She targets women as clients.

She has offered seminars at the Massachusetts Money Conference for Women, and works on the Financial Literacy Task Force of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She has just left the Board of the Financial Literacy Project of WomanKind.  She also works one-on-one, to help women understand the financial challenges that they face, and help them prepare financially to enjoy their increased longevity in the U.S.
