Support
Since the doors opened in 2001, the Women’s Studies Research Center (WSRC) at Brandeis University has been on the cutting-edge of women and gender issues worldwide. From displaying art exhibitions by and about women, to putting forth insightful lectures and presentations, to supporting and promoting the research and works by esteemed scholars in the field of women and gender issues, the Women’s Studies Research Center continues to embody its tagline, Where Research, Art, and Activism Converge, in new and exciting ways.
The ground-breaking projects that take place at the WSRC and the important collaborations that result from our interdisciplinary programs would not be possible without the generous donations of the devoted members of our community. If you share our passion for bringing women’s issues to light, a great way for you to take part in furthering our mission is investing in the Women’s Studies Research Center and its programs. We have a number of giving opportunities available including:
- Gifts to the Arts Program, which will support the rotating exhibitions in our Kniznick Gallery, the only exhibition space in New England that is dedicated to showing art by and about women;
- Gifts to the Scholars Program, which will support the Scholar Lecture Series, outreach efforts by WSRC scholars and staff, scholar workshops and professional development;
- Gifts in support of Scholar Research, which will directly support the research being done by the scholars at the WSRC
- Gifts to our Discretionary Fund, which will support the “nuts and bolts” of our center, providing critical resources for staff, building repairs, research materials, work supplies, and more to keep the center running.
