Margaret Morganroth Gullette will be speaking this coming year at the National Women's Studies Association, and at an "Aging" seminar at the University of Graz, Austria. She was a plenary speaker at the "Age Studies" forum at an international conference in Maastricht, Netherlands in the spring of 2009. She finished her forthcoming book, tentatively titled The Eskimo on the Ice Floe: Ageism and Early Decline in America, which will be published in July 2010. An essay on her work in Nicaragua, called "The Contagion of Euphoria" won the Daniel Singer Millennium Prize (2008).
