Biography

As a woman, mother, sister, grandmother, theologian, clinician, educator, scholar, entrepreneur, and friend, the Reverend Natalie C. Wimberly is committed to the health and overall well being of women, their sons and daughters, their husbands and fathers, their sisters and mothers, and their communities.  Natalie asserts, “It is my belief that women’s health impacts their children, families, and communities.  Ultimately, women’s health impacts the world.” The diversification of Natalie’s training and experience enables her to work strategically with women, those they love and care for.  Natalie has worked with individuals from various cultures, ethnic, religious/non-religious/ecumenical backgrounds and individuals with diverse cognitive abilities.

As a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology specializing in Health Psychology, her experiences include individual, couples, and family therapy, interventions with patients experiencing stress, bereavement, depression, chronic pain, various physical illnesses, and substance abuse.  After 9-11, she worked with victim’s families, first responders and their families.
