Eric Fleisch, PhD
Dr. Eric Fleisch is a Research Associate at CMJS and a lecturer in the Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. He holds a PhD in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University, as well as an MA in Jewish Communal Service from the Hornstein program at Brandeis. He is currently working on the manuscript for a book based on his dissertation, Israeli NGOs and American Jewish Donors: The Structures and Dynamics of Power Sharing in a New Philanthropic Era. Some of his most recent publications include 2012-13 Israel Studies Report and Directory, co-authored with Annette Koren, The Summer Institute for Israel Studies 2004-2013 co-authored with Annette Koren, and The New Philanthropy: American Jewish Giving to Israeli Organizations with Theodore Sasson.
