Begli Nursahedov, MA

Research Analyst

Begli Nursahedov is a research analyst at the Steinhardt Social Research Institute and the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies. Born and raised in Turkmenistan, Begli completed his BS in Economics at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He also holds an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School. Currently he is working on data analysis, primarily meta-analysis and statistical aspects of the Jewish demographics project at CMJS in close collaboration with research scientist Elizabeth Tighe. He is fluent in Russian, Turkish, and Turkmen.
