Statistical Overview: reviewing proposals for CI's Regional Networking Initiative
Coexistence International received 116 proposals from all over the world in response to the Request for Proposal for CI's Regional Networking Initiative. After an initial review, a committee of five people was presented with 43 of the most relevant and interesting applications. The review committee held a deliberative process which reduced this list down to 5 outstanding proposals. In the coming weeks CIÂ will be choosing one of these organizations with which to partner on the Regional Networking Initiative.
Proposals came from many areas of the world, with the guidelines for country eligibility laid out in the RFP application. Of the 116 proposals, country breakdown was as follows:

- West Africa: 18
- Others (ineligible):Â 2
Proposals also came from a range of institutions:

The proposals demonstrated a wide variety and depth of knowledge and approaches to coexistence, reflecting the great need for peacebuilding and connecting fields for coexistence all over the world.
