Transitional Justice Working Group Presents "Applying a Coexistence Lens to Transitional Justice Processes: Recommendations and Guidelines" to Liberian TRC


On October 14, in Monrovia, Liberia the Liberia Transitional Justice Working Group (TJWG) hosted an invitation-only  half-day program on transitional justice, reconciliation and coexistence in post-conflict Liberia. The event, in collaboration with the Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) and Coexistence International (CI) featured presentations on the capacity and potential of transitional justice to contribute to positive coexistence in the country.  Invited guests included representatives from leading civil society organizations in the country and public officials, including the Chairman of the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Mr. Nathaniel Kwabo, who received Applying a Coexistence Lens to Transitional Justice Processes: Recommendations and Guidelines on behalf of the Commission. These guidelines were developed jointly by the TJWG, CDD-Ghana, and CI.
