Exploring the Possibilities and Limits of Collaboration:
Commonalities and Differences in Coexistence and Related Fields
This report presents data and analysis on the commonalities and differences in coexistence and related fields. We believe the report offers unique insights, and we hope that some of these findings serve to initiate conversations about the possibilities and challenges of working between related areas of work (for example between coexistence and human rights, among others).
The Human Barometer exercise that we describe in the report is a tool that is available for use to facilitate discussions around values and beliefs held by practitioners within a field of work, or between fields. Section VIII, Next Steps includes several initial ideas about how the Barometer might be used, but you are also encouraged to develop other relevant applications.
If you are interested in working with the Human Barometer as described here, or have feedback on the report, please contact us at:Â coexistenceintl@brandeis.edu
