The Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit and public policy-oriented organization based in Accra, Ghana.  The Center is dedicated to the promotion of society and government based on the rule of law and integrity in public administration. Its mission is to promote democracy, good governance, and the development of a liberal economic environment. In so doing, CDD-Ghana seeks to foster the ideals of liberty, enterprise, and integrity in government and society at large.

Established in 1998, CDD-Ghana has grown into a full-fledged and reputable institution of research, training, and advocacy for democratic consolidation and good governance. With a strong capacity for research, analysis, and advocacy, the Center collaborates, partners, and networks with a wide range of domestic and external bodies to undertake programs to address national and regional challenges in areas such as democracy building, governance improvements, peaceful resolution of conflict and post-conflict/authoritarian transitional justice and reconciliation.

The Center also organizes roundtables, seminars, and workshops on issues bordering on democracy, good governance, anti-corruption and sustainable developmant, decentralization, and rights of citizenry.
