In this program area CIĀ seeks donor knowledge and support for a complementary approach to coexistence, and seeks to generate resources for the field by seeking to learn from and with experienced funders, drawing on their knowledge and expertise to change the way coexistence is funded.
Funders (foundations, bi- and multi-laterals) influence the strategies pursued in any field through research and knowledge sharing, grantmaking policies, and financial contributions. This area of CI's work is therefore designed to seek donor knowledge, experience, and support for a complementary approach to coexistence work, and to encourage discussion of potential new funding strategies of such interdisciplinary efforts.
In its years focusing on coexistence work, CI has developed a directory of funders committed to coexistence issues.
This program area is convened by Jessica Berns. For further information, please see the Concept Paper.
