Degrees of Respect
Each year at commencement, the university awards honorary doctoral degrees to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to their field or to society in general.

Brandeis University's 59th Commencement Exercises
The university’s 59th commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center on the Brandeis campus. Proceedings begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.
Each student will be issued six tickets for the main Commencement ceremony. Tickets will be distributed in April 2010.
Tickets are not required for mini-commencement ceremonies sponsored by the individual schools and departments.
