Dear Parent of a Brandeis Senior,
One of the most enjoyable and surely most memorable events for students and their families is Commencement Weekend, which will be held May 16-18, 2008. At this year’s Commencement, more than 7,500 students, members of the their families, friends and relatives will join in celebrating the accomplishments of our graduates. I look forward to having you with us for this special occasion.
This Web site offers the best and most complete information about the full schedule of events for Commencement Weekend, together with a list of area hotels, with addresses and telephone numbers. Important spring-semester dates are also listed. Please note that, because it is still early in the academic year, the Commencement schedule is subject to changes in times or locations. A final schedule will be available in April.
Due to the limited availability of hotel rooms in the Greater Boston area during the spring commencement season, I encourage you to make your hotel reservations early. Be sure to mention your Brandeis affiliation.
As a parent, I know how very proud you are of your son or daughter. Their accomplishments speak to the quality of the education they have received at Brandeis, and I hope they will choose to maintain a lifelong association with their alma mater through the Alumni Association.
