Executive Director, Strategic Communications
Editor-in-Chief, Brandeis Magazine
Laura is the university’s “storyteller-in-chief,” responsible for helping Brandeis’ many stakeholders share their stories effectively with internal and external audiences through print, video, web and social media.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a television producer at the Discovery Channel and PBS’s flagship station, WNET-13, where she won an Emmy for public affairs programming. For more than a decade, she worked in public and media relations, specializing in health care communications. She received her AB in English from Mount Holyoke College and her MS in communications from Boston University.
Laura has an obsessive love of gardening and its byproducts — cooking, canning and sharing food — and is the proud parent of a 2012 Brandeis alum.
