Consent Forms in Community-Engaged Learning Classes
All class projects involving interviewing or audiovisual recording require consent forms, signed and dated by participants in the project. The precise nature of the appropriate consent form varies according to the project. It is important to explain how the collected materials are likely to be used, and to clarify if persons are willing to be identified by name. Also indicate what community organizations are participating in the project.
