Spring Break Resources

Many offices on campus will be making adjustments to their schedules and to the level of services that they offer in preparation for April Break; depending upon the office and/or service, you can expect change between these dates: Monday April 2, 2018 – Friday, April 6, 2018.

All administrative offices will close at 12pm on Friday, March 30, 2018. You can find a list of the adjustments to expect below:


Spring Break Hours:

Mar 29 = 7am-8pm

Mar 30 = 7am-12pm

Mar 31 & Apr 1 = CLOSED

Apr 2-6 = 7am-8pm

Apr 7 = 10am-6pm

Apr 8 = 10am-10pm

The office will be closed on March 30, 2018 and reopen for normal business hours on April 2, 2018.

Professional staff members in DCL will be on call throughout the break - should you need assistance, please call Public Safety at (781) 736-5000.

Facilities Services:

Facilities Services will be operating with limited staff throughout the break. In case of emergency, students should call 781-736-5000.           


The last day of van service before break is Thursday, March 29, 2018 (the last shift will end Friday morning at 2:30am). Service will resume on Monday, April 9, 2018

Due to the lack of workers remaining on campus, BranVan will be offline over the break

Public Safety/BEMCO: 

Public Safety will be open throughout the break and will respond to all incidents that BEMCO would normally as they will not be operational.

BCC/Health Center:

BCC will be open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm. BCC will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. We provide after hours consultation throughout at 781-736-3785.  For emergency/urgent consultation with a Health Center Clinician, call the answering service at 781-239-1948.


Mar 31 & Apr 1 = CLOSED

Apr 2-6 = 8:30am-5:30pm

Rape Crisis Center / Office of Prevention Services:

You may reach the Rape Crisis Center at 781-736-3370 to connect either with Brandeis Police (press 1) or a counselor from the Brandeis Counseling Center (press 2) at any time during break.
