The Second Annual Greater Boston Anthropology Consortium (GBAC) Student Conference

Friday, March 5, 2005 , Rapaporte Treasure Hall, Goldfarb Library, Brandeis University, 10:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

The Samuel and Reika Rapaporte Treasure Hall is located within the Goldfarb Library, near the center of campus. From the main library entance, the Treasure Hall is on the right. Click here for directions and a campus map.

Parking and Transportation

Parking on the Brandeis campus is by permit only. The conference organizers have a limited amount of permits for carpools leaving from Tufts and Wellesley. Use of public transportation is encouraged. The MBTA commuter rail (Fitchburg line) stops at Brandeis, and this line also has a connection to the Red Line via Porter Square. Click here for MBTA schedule information.

Conference Information

Participant check-in will begin at 9:30 a.m. Please allow plenty of time to arrive on campus. Light refreshments will available in the morning.

Discussants will chair the panels and serve as timekeepers. Presenters will be held strictly to the 15 minute time limit.

Lunch (12:30-1:30) is on your own. There are three dining services options at the Usdan Student Center, adjacent to the library. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch to eat in the Student Center.
