EVALUATION
Regular class attendance is mandatory:
1) One-third of the grade in this course is based on daily performance in class (confirmed by a weekly quiz).

You will be expected to have prepared in advance the material assigned for that day. The best way to prepare is to write out the exercises -- it is the only way to find out what you really don't understand as well as you think you do, and to correct it.

2) One-third of the grade is based on two one-hour midterms.

3) One-third of the grade is based on a three-hour final exam.

If you persist in your preparation, you should be able to read un-doctored texts of the great Latin authors before the end of this semester (you can already read some of them!). Modo pergite -- you're more than halfway there!
