FELIX LIU KU '15
Felix is a junior at Brandeis University double majoring in Economics and Business. He is from Taipei, Taiwan, but was born in Spain and raised in Paraguay, and did not visit the United States until he started college in the fall of 2011.
Before Brandeis, Felix had no idea what he wanted to study. However, this all changed when he took ECON 2A with Professor Coiner. Professor Coiner’s energetic and animated lecture drew Felix into the world of economics, and subsequently, finance.
Although Felix does not have a particular field of interest yet in future careers, this past summer he interned in an indigenous community in Ecuador. This experience really sparked his interest in community development through a more thorough understanding of economics and local agriculture.
When not in class, you can find Felix working in several locations of Brandeis Dining on campus, and also as a student worker in the Office of the Provost. Felix is also part of the a cappella group JFA (Jewish Fella A Cappella), and participates actively in the theater scene of Brandeis.
