Chinese Placement Test
Unless, prior to coming to Brandeis, a student has NEVER studied or been exposed to Chinese language, the student will neeed to take a placement test to determine at which level you should begin your foreign language course work. Students can complete the test any time they feel convenient and e-mail their answers to the Director of the Chinese Language Program, Professor Yu Feng - yfeng@brandeis.edu. He will give students course suggestions prior to registration this summer. If a student wants to place out, he or she must take this test plus an additional composition test at the end of August or the beginning of September.
