Hebrew and Arabic Language Awards

Ruth Gollan Prize in Hebrew

$900

Given to a student pursuing a program of study in Israel
in Hebrew Language and/or Literature.

We are pleased to announce that through the Ruth Gollan Memorial Fund we are able to award one scholarship for the study of Hebrew in Israel. Any undergraduate student, who has completed at least one semester of Hebrew at Brandeis University, is eligible for this stipend, which will be put towards the cost of enrollment in a Hebrew program at an accredited Israeli University. There the chosen student will pursue a program of study in Hebrew, which focuses on the language and/or literature.

Please include two letters of reference, one of which should be written by an instructor of Hebrew. Documents of acceptance from the university in Israel will be required.
