Teaching
is done by every doctoral student in the program, but not by masters' candidates. Crown Fellows do not teach in the first year. During their second and third years, they normally serve as teaching assistants in undergraduate courses. Advanced graduate students are eligible to apply for University Prize Instructorships, sponsored by the Graduate School. Successful applicants design and teach their own undergraduate courses.
